National Student Advertising Competition - Team Chariot
Account Planner. Became an Independent Beauty Consultant to achieve better understanding of Mary Kay, I also conducted secondary and primary research to create a strong integrated communications campaign.
Turkish American Student Association (TASA)
President. Planned events such as Hookah Night, Game Night, and NBA Outing. Worked in collaboration with another Turkish Association to host the Ambassador of Turkey to the U.S.: Namık Tan. I also managed the group's Facebook account to promote events and improve awareness of the Association.
DANCE
Turkish American Student Associations
I danced as a part of the Turkish Dance Groups in Madison and Minneapolis. I performed at the Festival of Nations two years in a row in St. Paul. Watch our show!
Yuzuncu Yil University Dance Association
Practiced Tango, Salsa, and Hip Hop for two years as part of a University Dance Association in Turkey. We held performances before concerts and in festivals.
VOLUNTEER
Opera Translation
Translated the Turkish Opera “Aşk-ı Memnu” to be put into performance at the University of Minnesota.
Minnesota International Center
International Classroom Connections Speaker. I made presentations in elementray and middle schools to raise awareness about Turkish culture and life style.
Turkish Immersion Program
Volunteered to practice Turkish with the students attendint the Arabic, Persian, and Turkish Immersion Program in Madison, WI.
